They’ll find answers to life’s most important questions. They will discover that God loves them and that through Jesus they can be members of God’s family and personally experience God’s formula for life! As I have interacted with people in the community our church is well known for our VBS. Many people have told me that their kids have attended VBS at WLCC. We have been blessed with great VBS programs across the years and this year promises more of the same. What a great time we have doing something that is so important—telling young people about God’s love that comes to us in the person of Jesus Christ.
This is also one of the greatest demonstrations of the church being the body of Christ. It takes so many volunteers using their gifts in so many different areas. Pulling off an outreach like this is impossible without enormous support from the congregation. But what a delight it is to see kids being loved with the love of Jesus and being taught truths that can transform their lives literally forever. Please start praying for this great ministry and if you have never participated maybe this year is your year?! We would love to see you blessed by ministering to others.
This is also a great way for you to get to know some more of the people at our church. If you have kids please get them registered early. We are praying that God brings us a healthy throng of kids this summer.

We have three different times for our training sessions – Sundays, August 2, 9, & 1. AM in Dexter Hall. Workers just need to attend ONE of these sessions, we have three options for this same training for your convenience.
